Just Finished Studying תולדות in the Midrash and started ויצא. I have read up to the point where Jacob is about to meet Rachel for the first time.

Just finished studying חיי שרה

Just finished studying חיי שרה and started תולדות. The פרשה covered the later part of the life of Abraham, Sarah's death, Isaac's wedding to Rebecca and various other events. I found it fascinating. The Midrash offers a lot of unwritten insights to the text of the Bible.

I am in the process of finishing up my study of פרשת וירא and am getting ready to start פרשת חיי שרה in the Midrash Rabbah (מדרש רבה).

I learned so much about the 2 parshot I found it fascinating. I can't wait to read לך לך I will most likely start it tomorrow.

שמות Exodus Is back ordered

שמות is back ordered because it is out of stock at Eichlers. They will ship it to me as soon as the 2 volumes of the Midrash Rabbah come in. If I get lucky I will be able to order ויקרא both volumes very soon.

I got all of בראשית now I am working on שמות

I am still studying the midrash rabbah in בראשית and that effort is going well. I have covered the 6 days of creation and the sabbath. The opportunity presented itself to buy the volumes of שמות so I jumped at the opportunity.

I Started My Study Of בראשית

I'm excited because I started studying בראשית in the Midrash. I am gaining all sorts of new insights and am thoroughly enjoying the effort. I find that I can't wait to open the book and continue my efforts.

I am Getting Volumes 1&2 out of 4 of the Midrash Rabbah on בראשית

Sandy just gave me the ok to get the first 2 volumes of the Midrash on the book of בראשית I am excited to get started on my study. Sandy and I are currently studying Rashi's commentary on בראשית so the Midrash will enhance the experience.

I Have My Eyes Set On The Midrash

I just got prices on getting a set of the Artscroll Midrash from Eichlers in Brooklyn. The entire set would cost me $629.99. I thought I would start out slow due to the cost. I decided to price out just getting בראשית that would be 4 volumes at a cost of roughly $160.00. I am starting to save my money, as I intend to piece it together over time.

My Set Of Rashi Commentary Is Now Complete

The last volume came yesterday it was במדבר Numbers. It had gotten lost in the mail. I wasn't sure if it would ever come but I have it now. 

I would like to save up my money to purchase Ramban's commentary.

The Artscroll Prophets Books Are Now Complete

I was able to pick up the last remaining Artscroll books on the prophets from Eichlers bookstore in Brooklyn New York I will now be concentrating on the writtings I was able to obtain the books of Daniel, Ezra, and Neiamiah from the same source. I was also able to get the Artscroll Rashi book Bamidbar from Borenstein's in Oak Park Michigan. It was mailed to me but is now stuck in Washington State.

New Volumes in the Artscroll The Prophets collection

Artscroll just came out with commentated volumes of ירמיה Jeremiah and יחזקאל Ezekiel. I am excited to get them to add to my library. I also need to add במדבר Numbers to my רשי Rashi Artscroll books.
